Chile Colorado (Red Chile Sauce)

2 14 oz containers of Albuquerque Tortilla Red Chile Puree, thawed and blended
1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup of water if needed

In a saucepan bring blended Albuquerque Tortilla Red Chile Puree, garlic powder, salt, oregano, and tomato sauce to a simmer. Cook for about 10 to 15 minutes.

You may add cooked cubed pork or ground beef to chile. To thicken chile add flour to meat at the end of cooking.
